I have used MIT App Inventor to make my application and it is based on block code. There are 4 screens in my app, and each screen has its own code which I have attached below in the file upload section. Each screen hosts each one of my features and the code is for the function of the app, and the design was done using MIT app inventor.

I think that my project should be featured because Alzheimer's and Dementia are serious diseases that affect older populations. The disease affects approximately 11% of the older population and yet, there is still no viable cure for it. The individuals with this disease constantly forget things, which could be a hazard to their lives especially if they forget to do something important. I believe that my app will help provide some happiness in the user's lives and make them feel better about themselves and not depressed that they have this disease. This app has features that can help the user connect with their family, set reminders for themselves, and relax. Thus, I feel that by featuring this app (or if it gets released in the future as a real app) individuals could get more awareness of this issue, help their loved ones with the disease feel better, and help provide a solution to the problem.
