Our app uses code.org app lab and it’s written using Javascript. We used object-oriented concepts to design and code different functionalities. For example, for the login functionality, we used a database table to store the username and password of the app users. The same data is used to check the login credentials and can be updated if the user forgets their password. Once logged in the user will have access to various features of our app. One of the features is a Tic-Tac-Toe which is coded using database and random functionality. We also used conditional statements like if..else to check and verify various answers and button display. The next feature is a pop quiz where questions and answers are stored in the database. With only two screens, we were able to complete the whole pop quiz. Another feature is the simulator where various screens were designed using applab’s design elements like images, labels and buttons. Finally we have a learn page where users can read more information about stress and social anxiety

Our app, ‘Talk2Me’ should be featured because it helps students and young adults, ages 10 to 18, recover from social anxiety and stress. By featuring this app, we will get an opportunity to bring more awareness around social anxiety that can come in different ways. For example, stage fright, peer pressure, making new friends, and solving conflicts and many people across the world suffer from this. All this leads to severe stress and can affect your relationships, daily routines, work, school, or other activities.
