Overview
Welcome to The True You! This is a program where it asks you simple questions about your personality. You answer truthfully and it will inform you about the perks of each of your personality traits. This helps reduce personality-based insecurities because the questions are about character traits that the user may feel insecure about, so knowing the upsides to the characteristics can make them know that they are a better person than they think they are. The message of The True You is to not be so harsh on yourself. The problem that I noticed in the world that the program addresses is that you can be your worst enemy because sometimes we only see the worst in ourselves. Social media inspired me to address this problem because I noticed that people thought that it was a bad thing to be who they are, even though they actually were awesome people!

Audience
The True You can be utilized by people of all ages, but the target audience is teenagers. I chose this population because I tend to see teenagers hating their own personalities more than anyone else. Not only that, but sometimes when we open up to adults about why we hate ourselves, they will just accuse us of only pretending to be insecure for attention. Teens would want to use this program because it shows them the upsides of the personality traits that they may feel insecure about, so they can feel better about themselves without having to talk to an adult and risk getting lectured about how they "just want attention." The title reflects on how we may imagine ourselves to be worse people than we really are and the message of the website to not be so hard on ourselves can teach teens that self love is important. The color scheme has pastel colors that are cute and comforting. The logo is a silhouette of a person (representing the user) looking into a mirror (representing the project) and the reflection is made of adjectives that describe the silhouette (representing who they truly are). The logo connects to teen users because it symbolizes the simple program helping them see what kind of person they really are.
