When users come to Trash2Treasure, they can head on over to our login/registration page and create an account to remember their progress. They can then proceed to our AI "Trashbot" and plug in a specific material to create an arts and crafts. Then, they wait for the Trashbot to provide them with a solution to their waste material. Once it responds, they can then either edit the response and/or use the directions to create their art masterpiece. After they are done creating their beautiful craft, they can navigate to our post page and submit a picture of their artwork along with what they used and what they learned.

Our website is built on WordPress and was constructed with a website builder called "Divi". This is how we created the outline for our website, to give it its appearance and different pages. We also used a plugin to call Open AI through an API to our website to be used. To make this effectively work for our main goal, we engineered an AI prompt. We talked to AI experts and learned what makes a good prompt to get the best results possible from the AI. One example of a technique that we learned was encouraging the AI, letting it know it is the smartest in this field, and this actually proved to result in better responses. This is how we achieved such amazing results, all while making it usable in schools without it being used and abused for other purposes.

Our Project - Trash2Treasure drives creativity and engagement in arts and crafts, inspiring the next generation of artists, while making a positive impact on the environment. Trash management continues to be a significant challenge that the world is facing, including our local communities. Feedback received from our teachers and local community has been overwhelmingly positive recognizing the impact our innovative solution could have on the problem of trash management.
